Alaa Mohamed Abdalla Hamza is an accomplished legal counsel with over a decade of experience in legal advisory, litigation, legislative drafting, and regulatory compliance. Currently based in the UAE, Alaa has served in multiple high-level legal roles, including at the Sudanese Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank of Sudan, and Sudan Shipping Lines Co. Ltd. Her work spans corporate, maritime, banking, employment, and contract law, along with significant involvement in governmental law reform projects.

I holds an LL.M in International Maritime Law (with Distinction) from the IMO International Maritime Law Institute in Malta, and a forthcoming Master’s in International Banking Law from the University of Khartoum. I am also certified in legislation drafting, corporate governance, and international law from esteemed institutions including CILC (Netherlands), the United Nations, and McKinsey & Company.

Renowned for my strategic insight into legal frameworks, I have advised on major commercial and financial agreements, shipping and employment contracts, and legislative reforms in aviation, telecommunications, and economic law.
As a licensed attorney of the Sudanese Bar, my extensive litigation experience includes a high success rate in civil, family, and criminal law cases.
