Dr. Foluso O. Agunbiade is a researcher and Associate Professor of Industrial Chemistry at University of Lagos, Nigeria. His research interest includes environmental modelling using fuzzy logic based expert knowledge and pattern recognition; climate change mitigation and sustainable chemistry; clean water and sanitation; industrial chemical processes and raw material development; material chemistry and its applications in water treatment.
He is involved in raising intellectual minds, capable of independent critical reasoning and problem solving through teaching and mentoring. He has successfully supervised over 50 BSc and 30 Postgraduate students. He held his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of KwalZulu-Natal and currently serves as Visiting Professor to School of Chemical Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, India. He has received several research grants and awards such as TWAS group grant, World Bank funded ACE Impact grant, UKRI-EPSRC, AFRETEC grant among others. He is a member of a number of professional bodies and editor/reviewer to a number of scientific journal publication outlets.
