Gesler E. Murray Jr. has over 10 years of professional and managerial level experience spanning the construction industry, as well as the upstream and downstream petroleum sectors in Liberia. He is also an occupational health and safety professional with expertise in project management and financial management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Stella Maris Polytechnic University (SMPU) and a Master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Heriot-Watt University (Dubai Campus).
Gesler has worked with several prominent institutions such as UNICEF Liberia, CONEX Petroleum Storage Terminal (PST) and TSC Engineering & Construction Consultants where he made significant impacts.
Currently, he works with the Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Authority (LPRA) as a petroleum engineer where he helps formulate energy policies to effectively regulate Liberia’s upstream petroleum sector and facilitate negotiations with international oil companies seeking to invest in Liberia’s upstream oil & gas sector.
