The Africa Climate Summit II (ACS2), held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 8-10 September 2025, under the theme “Accelerating Global Climate Solutions: Financing for Africa’s Resilient and Green Development”, was a pivotal moment for the continent. The Africa Ocean-Climate Solutions Pavilion, in collaboration with the Professional African Technical Network Advisory (PATNA) Initiative, provided a platform for two critical sessions that reframed Africa’s maritime decarbonisation and ocean-energy transition as opportunities for industrialisation, resilience, and inclusive growth.
